Terms of use
These terms describe how you can use Pacero and what rules apply to training recommendations, your account and subscriptions.
What Pacero is
Pacero is a training assistant for runners. It helps with training plans, activity analysis, progress, races, weekly reports, and Pacero Readiness. You can add activities and selected data to Pacero through Apple Health, Health Connect, a GPX/FIT file, or manual logging.
What Pacero is not
Pacero is not a health service, medical device, medical diagnostics, or a replacement for a personal coach. Training plans, analyses, Pacero Readiness, and recommendations are informational and training-focused. When training, consider your health, current fatigue, and your own judgment.
If you have health limitations, pain, injury, or uncertainty, consult your training with a doctor or qualified professional.
Account
When registering, you must provide truthful information and protect your login credentials. You are responsible for activity in your account.
Integrations and data sources
Pacero may work with data from Apple Health, Health Connect, GPX/FIT files, or manual logging. Data availability depends on your device, watch app, mobile system permissions, and the quality of the data you enter.
Apple Health and Health Connect are optional data sources. Their use is also governed by the rules and settings of the relevant platform. Pacero cannot read data the user does not allow.
If automatic sync is unavailable or you do not want to use it, you can upload an activity through a GPX/FIT file or log it manually. Some features may be more accurate with more detailed data from a watch or file.
Third-party services and integrations
Some Pacero features may depend on third-party services, the mobile operating system, health platforms, watches, or apps where the data comes from. These services may have their own rules, technical limits, terms of use, and availability that Pacero does not control.
If an external service, mobile platform, or watch app changes, limits, or ends access to data, some Pacero features may be temporarily or permanently limited. Pacero will try to offer an alternative way to work with data, such as GPX/FIT or manual logging.
A change or outage of a free integration does not automatically create a right to a Pacero PRO refund if the paid Pacero features remain available. This does not affect your rights under applicable law.
GPX/FIT and manual logging
If you upload a GPX or FIT file, you are responsible for having the right to use and process that file in Pacero. If you log an activity manually, you are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
The accuracy of analyses, calculations, and recommendations depends on the scope and quality of available data.
AI and recommendations
Pacero may use AI to explain calculated training metrics, progress, plans, or Pacero Readiness. AI outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. Do not make important health, pain, or injury decisions based only on Pacero recommendations.
The app calculates training signals and metrics first. AI helps explain them in plain language. AI does not independently decide calculations, safety rules, or medical diagnostics.
Pacero Readiness
Pacero Readiness is an add-on feature that may prepare a morning training recommendation based on available data, such as sleep, resting heart rate, HRV, training load, and the planned workout.
Pacero Readiness is not medical diagnostics. The result is a training recommendation based on available data and your history. If data is missing, incomplete, or delayed, the recommendation may be unavailable or only directional.
We use neutral push notifications on the lock screen. The detailed recommendation is shown in the app.
Clubs, discussions, and messages
If you use club features, you are responsible for content you add to discussions, comments, or messages. Do not publish other people's personal data without permission, harass other users, spread illegal content, or use club features in a way that disrupts the service.
Pacero may remove or restrict content that violates these terms, threatens user safety, or is reported as inappropriate.
Club content is visible according to club settings and membership. Do not add information to club discussions that you do not want to share with the relevant club members.
Friends module
If you use Friends, you are responsible for workouts, comments and other content you share. Share only content you are allowed to share and do not harass, insult or threaten other users.
Friends sharing is private to confirmed friends or selected audiences, not a public leaderboard. Do not add information to comments or captions that you do not want to share with that audience.
Pacero may remove or restrict reported Friends content that violates these terms, threatens user safety or abuses the service.
Payments, Pacero PRO, and Pacero Readiness
Pacero may offer paid features, such as Pacero PRO, the Pacero PRO + Pacero Readiness bundle, or the Pacero Readiness add-on for active PRO access.
Before activating a paid feature, we will show the price, subscription period, cancellation options, and other payment terms. If the payment gateway is still being prepared, paid feature availability may be temporarily limited.
Pacero PRO is intended for more advanced training features, regular planning, higher analysis limits, progress, comparisons, reports, and race features. Pacero Readiness adds morning training recommendations from available data.
Free or system integrations, such as Apple Health or Health Connect, are not sold as a standalone Pacero product. Paid features apply to Pacero functionality, not resale of access to external platforms.
Paid features and integration changes
Some paid features may depend on data availability from the mobile device, health platforms, watch apps, or manually entered data.
If an external service, operating system, health platform, or watch app changes or limits data availability, Pacero may adjust, replace, or limit the affected feature based on technical possibilities.
If a paid feature becomes unavailable for an extended period, the user may cancel the subscription. Any refund claims will be handled according to applicable law and the payment terms shown when the paid service is activated.

Service availability
We work to keep Pacero reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Some features may depend on data availability, permissions, and the technical capabilities of the device. We continuously improve the service and it may change.
Liability
Pacero is provided, to the extent permitted by law, without a guarantee of a specific sports result. We are not responsible for injuries, damages, or decisions you make based on using the app. When training, consider your health and consult a professional if you are unsure.
Ending use
You can stop using your account or request deletion. Pacero may restrict or cancel access if these terms are violated or the service is abused.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms. For significant changes, we will try to inform users in a reasonable way.
